We’re here for bees and our natural environment.
Here at Bee2Bee, we take our social and green stewardship seriously. It is a key part of our strategy. We aim to be adaptive and responsive to these issues so that we can continuously refine our business practices over time.
Wherever possible, we try to source local products to support Australian suppliers and reduce our carbon footprint from transport.
We choose to sell products that balance quality and longevity with affordability. We sell recyclable bee boxes to reduce landfill and the strain on our forests.
Our own New Zealand pine products are made from a quality farmed timber. None of our timber products will ever come from what remains of native or old growth forests.
We aim to reduce and re-use packaging as much as possible.
We don’t use toxic chemicals or paints on our products.
We rescue and re-home bee swarms throughout the summer. We try to educate the wider community on the importance of bees and to prevent hive poisonings wherever we can.
We support initiatives that engage and promote beekeeping to build sustainable communities. We are currently supplying products to such an effort in Africa.
We are an outspoken advocate for the environment and for bees. Our blog The Buzz aims to both educate and keep our community up to date on important issues across beekeeping and the environment.
